What impact will it/or can it have on me as a teacher?

As a teacher, Web 2.0 will impact me by being able to keep parents up to date with real-time information regarding the classroom. Google Docs can allow me to quickly upload worksheets I created for students to work on for homework. It allows collaboration over the holidays if a homework packet is too extensive or if parents cannot attend Open-House, the students can do classroom videos and I can post it to the blog site. Google Calendar is good for school reminders or for jotting down ideas for projects.
